About Us

WHAT WE DO

Northwest Oregon Works (NOW) champions impactful workforce solutions, provides leadership, creates connections, fosters partnerships, and makes investments to address the employment needs of individuals and the business community.  NOW is a non-profit organization that serves Benton, Clatsop, Columbia, Lincoln, and Tillamook counties and is designated by local County Commissioners as the Local Workforce Investment Board for this five-county region.  The board is business-led and also includes representatives from education, economic development, organized labor, community-based organizations and state agencies.

Partner/Local Job Openings

Partnerships are the key to everyone’s success.  As conveners, NOW develops and nurtures a myriad of partnerships and connects partners to each other in support of development of impactful workforce solutions, and to mobilize innovative ideas and proven practices. We engage with a myriad partners to better align our resources and increase coordination of service delivery in our communities.

We partner with private business and industry, training and education providers, community-based organizations, community colleges, economic development, K-12 and others.  Partners engage with us a variety of initiatives:  in sector work, Regional Leadership Teams, Local Leadership Teams, Youth Re-engagement Council, Local STEM Hubs, Regional and Local Economic Development groups, and others.
